About the Trauma-Free World Course

January 8th - 6:00-8:00 PM  Session 1: Trauma and It's Impact on the Life of a Child. The Trauma Free World curriculum equips adults with trauma-informed skills to transform lives and families. In this module, learn about why trauma competent caregiving is important, early neglect and trauma in a child's story, complex developmental trauma, living in chronic fear, and the hope that exists in these spaces. February 12th - 6:00-8:00 PM Session 2: Trauma's Impact on Child Development. The Trauma Free World curriculum equips adults with trauma-informed skills to transform lives and families. In Module #2, learning focuses on the concepts behind attachment, sensory regulation and sensory processing, as well as developmental delays. Participants will begin to become familiar with the case studies of children who we will follow throughout the series. March 12th - 6:00-8:00 PM Session 3: ACE's, PCE's & The Role of Resilience. The Trauma Free World curriculum equips adults with trauma-informed skills to transform lives and families. In Module #3, we'll explore ACEs and how trauma is not as rare as many think. We'll also discuess PCEs (positive childhood experiences) and the power of resilience.
